The NJT8371U Series from New Japan Radio are Ka-band GaN SATCOM BUCs that up-convert an input frequency from 950 - 1700 MHz to an output frequency from 13.75 - 14.5 GHz. They provide 40 W of saturated output power with a gain of more than 66 dB and have a phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz offset. These BUCs require a DC supply from 36 - 60 V (AC power option also available) and consume less than 290 W of power. This IP67-rated BUC Series supports FSK communications and has an RS-232C interface. They are available in RoHS-compliant module that measures 230 x 150 x 100 mm with F-type/N-type Female input connectors and WR75 grooved waveguide interface at the output.
