The GE310 from Telit is a Quad-Band GSM/GPRS Module which is integrated with a Multi-constellation GNSS receiver and a Bluetooth transceiver. This module is recommended for new designs requiring quad-band GSM/GPRS coverage in a compact and robust package delivering easy integration thus reducing the impact on final application costs. It is available in an LGA package that measures 15 x 18 mm and is an ideal solution for applications such as asset management, utilities, and telematics.
The GNSS receiver can navigate up to three constellations concurrently (GPS+GLONASS+Galileo or GPS+Beidou+Galileo) and supports SBAS and Assisted GPS (A-GPS). The receiver has a cold start at -148 dBm and has a pre-select SAW filter.
The Bluetooth transceiver supports BT 4.0 specification and is embedded with a power amplifier that provides 7.5 dBm of output power and offers an excellent receiver sensitivity of -95 dBm.
This module requires a DC supply of 2.8 V and can be controlled via AT commands with SMS over GPRS support.
