The EG800Q-NA from Quectel is an LTE Cat 1 bis Module that is based on 3GPP Rel-14 LTE technology. It delivers a downlink data rate of up to 10 Mbps and an uplink data rate of 5 Mbps. This module is powered by the Qualcomm® QCX216 LTE IoT modem and supports LTE-FDD coverage, DFOTA, and Wi-Fi Scan. It has a single antenna and is designed for customers in the North American region. The module requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 4.3 V and consumes less than 22.3 mA of current.
The EG800Q-NA can be controlled via 1.8/3.0 V (U)SIM, UART, USB 2.0 (Highspeed), Audio Digital (PCM), SD and ADC interfaces. It is available in an LGA package that measures 15.8 x 17.7 x 2.4 mm and is ideal for a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as asset management, commercial telematics, smart payments, RMAC, security and automation, smart metering, and smart grid.
