The A7676E from SIMCom is an LTE 450 & Cat 1 Module that supports LTE-FDD, GSM, GPRS, and EDGE wireless communication modes. It also supports 450 MHz and has a peak downlink data rate of up to 10 Mbps and an uplink data rate of 5 Mbps. This module supports Dual SIM, VoLTE, and GNSS functions. It has multiple built-in network protocols and the drivers for the main operating systems (USB driver for Windows, Linux, and Android). The module can be controlled via USB 2.0, UART, (U)SIM card, PCM, ADC, I2C, and GPIO interfaces.
The A7676E requires a DC supply of 3.4-4.2 V and has an ultra-low power consumption mode. It is ideal for IoT applications such as telematics, POS, surveillance devices, industrial routers, remote diagnostics, etc. The module is available in an LCC+LGA package that measures 24.0 x 24.0 x 2.4 mm. It is pin-compatible with SIM7000/SIM7070 series (NB/Cat M modules), and SIM800F (2G modules), which enables smooth migration from 2G/NB/CAT-M products to LTE Cat 1 & 450 MHz products, and greatly facilitates more compatible product design for the customers' needs.
