These connectors operate up to 25 GHz and allow phone makers, RF module developers, and chipset makers to leverage industry-leading 5G mmWave connectivity technologies. They have a pitch of 0.35 mm and a span of 0.30 mm for fast and easy mating and include a plug-over-mold design that prevents pin pullout. These connectors facilitate fast, trouble-free assembly with a solid click-feeling to prevent incorrect mating, offering robust peel force to increase reliability and minimize the load on assembly operators or automatic assembly machines. The 5G25 series connectors offer printed wiring board (PWB) design flexibility and enable designers of RF antenna modules and mobile devices to combine RF and non-RF signals, which reduces the need for additional connectors while producing additional space and cost-savings. They have a current rating of up to 2 A (1 A per pin for 2 pins) and protect the connector from damage during mating.
