The 1521-00005 from SV Microwave is a 40 GHz 2.92 mm Edge-Lock RF PCB Connector. It has an edge-lock design that allows for precision placement prior to the reflow process and ensures optimal RF performance throughout the connector’s full frequency range. This design is developed to form an interference fit between the conical alignment pin and the PCB thru-hole, thus pulling the contact lane of the connector into the edge of the PCB. It has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 V (RMS). This connector can withstand 500 mating cycles and has clamps that securely connect to the PCB edge and can be modified to fit most PCB thicknesses. The connector is ideal for high-speed/frequency component tests, product evaluation boards, Mil-Aero radar and communication systems and SATCOM systems applications.
