The P1350 Series from Berten are MANET Radio Transceivers that operate from 1150 to 1550 MHz. They use the proprietary COFDM or DSSS waveforms and deliver a data rate of up to 100 Mbps. These transceivers use TDMA multiplexing that allows point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and mesh networks (MANET) with configurable time slots and dynamic routing. They support encrypted communications and are internally synchronized to eliminate the need for GPS. The transceivers have built-in self-tests (BIST) & temperature monitoring and are qualified for airborne environmental conditions supporting hypersonic mobility up to Mach 5 (>6000 Km/h). They are defence-grade transceivers that provide a compact, robust, and affordable solution for tactical communications in electronic warfare (EW) environments.
The P1350 Series transceivers support Dynamic Packet Routing between nodes without LoS and have features like IP filtering, wireless bridge and IP multicast. They require a DC supply of 24-30 V and consume less than 4A of current. They can be controlled via 1000BASE-T and RS232/RS422 interfaces. These transceivers are available in rugged IP67-rated enclosures that measure 180 x 142 x 80 mm and are ideal for use in tactical ISR data links, telemetry & video streaming, command and control (C2), intra-flight data links, swarm, telemetry and mesh networks.
