The StarLite HR from Elbit Systems is a Data-Link that has been designed for long-range aerial platforms. It is available in S-Band, C-Band, X-Band and Ku-Band frequencies and delivers a data rate of up to 45 Mbps over a range of 300 Km. This system supports full duplex (uplink and downlink) using TDD or FDD and implements advanced CTC-FEC error correction techniques. It uses MRC diversity for excellent communication quality in every environment. This data-link system has a wideband Ethernet connection that supports multiple payloads and several IP sources. It smoothly transmits analog or high-definition video and audio from the platform payload to the ground station, while receiving IP sources and audio from the ground.
The StarLite HR is available in an enclosure that measures 308 x 264 x 250 mm and consumes less than 310 W. It is designed for large manned or unmanned platforms and is ideal for Line-of-Sight (LOS) data-link systems for MALE/HALE UAVs, USVs, mission helicopters, manned mission aircraft, and other long-range platforms.
