The RF300M-DL from L3Harris is Small Secure Data Link (SSDL) System that operates from 30 to 520 MHz, 762 to 870 MHz (Narrowband), and from 225 to 450 MHz (Wideband). This single-channel system is based on AN/PRC-152/152A Falcon III® technology and features multiband and multi-mode capabilities. It delivers mission-critical, ground-to-ground, air-to-ground, and air-to-air communications, with reliable voice, data, and video. The data link supports SATCOM and Line-Of-Sight waveforms as well as IP-based ad-hoc networking through the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and L3Harris’ Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2®C).
In Tx mode, this SSDL provides an output power of up to 10 W with a harmonic suppression of 40 dB while in Rx mode, it provides an adjacent channel rejection of more than 40 dB and overload protection (34 dBm) for up to 1 minute. The RF300M-DL is JTRS approved, with an SCA-compliant architecture that accommodates changing mission needs and emerging waveforms with simple software upgrades. It is also interoperable with all Falcon III radios, legacy VHF/UHF radio systems, UHF SATCOM waveforms, public safety radios, and Soldier Radio Waveform systems. The data link has a user interface that is optimized for remote control operation in the most challenging environments.
The RF300M-DL is available in an enclosure that measures 8.13 x 13.46 x 4.06 cm and requires a DC supply from 10 V to 13 V. It is tailored with MIL-STD-810F standard shock and vibration for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft and MIL-STD-461F standard for EMI/RFI. This SSDL includes USB or Ethernet interfaces for programming and an SSMA antenna port.
