The RFeye Array 125 from CRFS is a fully integrated, multi-mission direction-finding system for fixed, vehicle, or transportable applications with simultaneous DF, monitoring, and geolocation capability. It operates from 500 MHz to 8 GHz with 100 MHz of Instantaneous bandwidth. This is a fully integrated plug-and-play system containing a high-performance RFeye Node, spiral antenna modules, and high-speed switch and is available with an optional IP65 radome and mounting kit. The RFeye Array 100 family is designed for vehicle-mounted, transportable or ground-fixed installations. It can be quickly deployed and redeployed.
This system has a sweep speed of 280 GHz/s (at 2 MHz RBW), a sampling resolution of 16 bits per channel (I&Q) and a sampling rate of 125 MS/s. The RFeye Array 125 commutates at a very high speed around the antennas to make near-simultaneous AOA measurements in multiple directions. It also includes timing and synchronization features to allow correlation of data between multiple Arrays or between Arrays and Nodes for accurate geolocation of target signals using combined AOA, TDOA, and POA techniques. Measurements can be overlaid onto a wide variety of maps, satellite images, and 2D/3D GIS datasets, to give a unique positional display showing source geolocation probabilities. All signal types in the range can be mapped, irrespective of signal power, bandwidth or frequency.
This DF and spectrum monitoring system is available in an IP55-rated housing that measures 650 (Dia.) x 420 (H) mm with N-type connectors with an optional IP65 radome and mounting kit. It requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes less than 50 W of power.
