LCDRO SERIES Image

The LCDRO Series from L3Harris-MITEQ are Dielectric Resonant Oscillators (DROs) that operate from 7 to 18 GHz. Their output frequency can be mechanically tuned by +/- 10 MHz. The LCDRO is very stable, and can replace any fixed frequency test synthesizer or generator. They have a low G sensitivity and a frequency stability of 5 ppm/°C over a temperature range of -20 to +70 °C. These LCDROs provide an output power of over 13 dBm and have a low phase noise of -105 dBc @ 10 kHz offset. They require a supply of 5 to 15 V and consumes 120 mA of current.

These free-running DROs have a durable construction that allows operation in very harsh environmental conditions. They show excellent immunity to frequency pushing and pulling. They are available in a module with a coaxial connector. L3 Harris claims that these DROs are currently used in many microwave radar and radio frequency applications for both commercial and military.
