The AFEM-S106 from Avago Technologies is a WiFi Front-End Module that operates from 5.1 to 5.9 GHz. This module consists of a power amplifier, directional coupler, power detector and SPDT antenna switch. The PA provides a gain of 28 dB and has been optimized for IEEE 802.11 a/n WiFi applications. The FEM requires a supply voltage of 3 to 4.2 Volts. It is available in a 3.2 x 3.2 x 0.6 mm size package and is ideal for WiFi access points & portable WiFi applications.
