The MAMF-011138 from MACOM is an Integrated Dual-Channel Switch and Low-Noise Amplifier Module that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It includes two antenna switches and two 2-stage low noise amplifiers (the second stage LNAs can be bypassed). The module uses mixed technologies to achieve high power handling, low noise figure, and low power consumption. It can handle an input power of 10 W and provides a gain of more than 29 dB (in high gain mode). The integrated switch provides isolation of 42 dB and has a switching time of 500 ns. Each switch has an insertion loss of less than 0.8 dB and each LNA has a noise figure of 1.45 dB. The module requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 115 mA of current per channel.

The MAMF-011138 is available in a 40-lead QFN package that measures 6 x 6 mm and is suitable for use in 5G massive MIMO, wireless infrastructure, and TDD-based communications systems.
