QPF7552 Image

The QPF7552 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Front-End Module that operates from 5490 to 5835 MHz. It consists of an integrated 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), a UNII2c-3 band boost BAW filter, a single-pole two throw switch (SP2T), a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA), die level filtering for 2nd and 3rd harmonics, 2.4 GHz rejection for DBDC operation and a DC power detector for application feedback, providing a proportional voltage for given output power from the transmit path. The FEM provides a Tx gain of 31 dB and an Rx gain of 12 dB with a noise figure of 3.5 dB. This module is based on bandBoost technology that creates an easy-to-use and extremely compact solution for Wi-Fi tri-band applications where the operation of two simultaneous radios within the 5GHz frequency band is needed.

The QPF7552 is available in a laminate package that measures 3 x 3 mm and requires a DC supply of 5 V and. It is ideal for use in access points, wireless routers, residential gateways, customer premise equipment, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
