The SKY53728-11 from Skyworks Solutions is a 5G Front End Receiver Module for 5G-NR frequency bands from 3.3 to 4.2 GHz and 4.4 to 5 GHz. It consists of an integrated LNA filter and can attenuate unwanted out-of-band blockers in adjacent and far-out frequency bands while maintaining very low insertion loss performance in the passband frequencies. The module utilizes the latest advanced SOI process technologies to achieve high bandwidth and low noise figure performance in a small package footprint.
The SKY53728-11 is available in an MCM package that measures 2.8 x 2.6 x 0.7 mm and has MIPI v2.1+ interface. It requires no external DC blocking capacitors on the RF paths as long as no DC voltage is applied. The module is ideal for use in 5G NR sub-6GHz smartphones & tablets and 5G NR sub-6GHz data cards.
