The SKY58260-41 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module that supports 5G, 4G, 3G, LTE, WCDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA bands. It has PA blocks, input and output matching, a MIPI® standard digital control block, single-ended duplexers, antenna, band select switches, and a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). This module uses an enhanced architecture to cover multiple bands and meet the spectral linearity requirements of LTE QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, and 256QAM modulations with up to 20 MHz bandwidth and up to 100 resource block allocations.
The SKY58260-41 controls the output power by varying the input power and has an inbuilt temperature sensor. It also has a Power Management IC (PMIC) that adjusts VCC to maximize efficiency. This SkyShield™ shielded module is available in a low-profile 79-pad SMT package that measures 6.4 x 5.0 x 0.85 mm. It is ideal for Multi-band 4G/3G handsets and 5G applications.
