The SKY5A3047 from Skyworks is a Front-End Module for 4G LTE and 5G NR applications. It consists of power amplifier (PA) blocks, low-noise amplifier (LNA) blocks, two Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) v3.0 standard digital control blocks and integrated duplexers. This module includes a multiple gain state average power tracking mode, integrated filters, antenna port and band select switches. It has an enhanced architecture that covers multiple bands and meets the spectral linearity requirements of LTE QPSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM modulations and New Radio DFTS-OFDM and CP-OFDM modulations up to 190 MHz bandwidth. This AEC-Q104 Grade-2 qualified module includes a temperature sensor and autonomous over-voltage protection. It is designed for LTE and NR Bands 1, 3, 25, 66, 34, 39, 7, 40 and 41.
The SKY5A3047 requires a low supply voltage and has a low leakage current in power-down mode. It is available in a low-profile package that measures 6.5 x 6.25 x 0.8 mm and is ideal for multi-band 4G and 5G automotive telematics, network attached device (NAD), long-term evolution (LTE) (up to 60 MHz bandwidth/300 resource blocks) and 5G New Radio (up to 190 MHz bandwidth) applications.
