The SKY65378-11 from Skyworks is an RF Front-End Module that is designed for low power ISM band applications from 860 to 930 MHz. It consists of an integrated low-noise amplifier with programmable gain and an antenna switch with a transmit/receive diversity function. The module provides a gain of 17 dB in Rx mode with a noise figure of 2.5 dB. This FEM requires a DC supply from 2 to 4.8 V, consumes 8 mA of current in Rx mode and 330 μA of current in Tx mode. It draws less than 1 μA of current in sleep mode.
The SKY65378-11 is available in a surface-mount QFN package that measures 4.0 x 4.0 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for use in smart meters, smart thermostats, connected homes and in-home applications.
