The SKY85789-11 from Skyworks is a Wi-Fi 6/6E Front End Module that operates in the 6 GHz band. It consists of a 6 GHz SPDT transmit/receive (T/R) switch, a 6 GHz high gain, a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with bypass mode, and a non-linear power amplifier (PA) for high-power Wi-Fi 6 applications and systems. This module includes an integrated logarithmic power detector to provide closed-loop power control within the system. It provides an Rx gain of 15 dB, has an AM/AM distortion of 5 dB, and AM/PM distortion of 10°. The FEM is available in a 24-pin surface mount LGA package that measures 3 x 5 mm and is suitable for use in Wi-Fi 6 networking systems and set-top boxes and WLAN-enabled wireless video streaming systems.
