The MRPA-3A from General Dynamics is a GNSS Active Antenna that operates from 1189 to 1254 MHz and 1559 to 1610 MHz. It covers GPS (L1, L2, L5), GLONASS (L1, L2, and L3) and GALILEO (E1, E5, E6) bands. This Horizon-Nulling GNSS antenna can null terrestrial interferences arriving at low elevation angles of 10 to 20 degrees with a rejection of more than 20 dB. It has a right-hand circular polarization and provides an improved gain at zenith over standard FRPA. This antenna has a beamwidth of 60° ± 5° and an axial ratio of less than 2 dB.
The MRPA-3A requires a DC supply of 3.3 to 12 V and an LNA current of less than 50 mA. This GNSS antenna is available in a bottom-mount high-grade polymer radome designed to protect from UV, rain, lightning, chemical, and jet fuels and has an N, SMA, or TNC connector. It is ideal for military warfighter applications.
