The M1516HCT-22-P from Maxtena is a Passive Antenna that operates in the 1575 MHz (GPS L1) and 1602 MHz (GLONASS) bands. This right-handed circular polarized (RHCP) antenna provides a peak gain of -0.5 dBic and has an efficiency of 25%. It is built on Maxtena's proprietary Helicore® technology that provides exceptional pattern control, polarization purity, and high efficiency in a very compact form factor. The antenna is designed for embedded applications and is available in a lightweight package with an integrated 3-pin or U.FL connector.

The M1516HCT-22-P has an axial ratio of up to 1.5 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.5:1. This ground-plane independent antenna is ideal for mechanically constrained platforms used in handheld devices, asset tracking, seismic recording instruments, vehicle and fleet tracking, military & security, oil & gas industries, navigation devices, mining equipment, and LBS & M2M applications.
