The M9HCT-A-SMA from Maxtena is a Multi-Frequency Active GNSS Antenna that supports L1/L2/L5 GPS, Galileo, Beidou, GLONASS bands, and L-band correction services. This RHCP helical antenna delivers a gain of 1.1 dB and has a peak efficiency of up to 46 %. It has an axial ratio of 1.2 dB at the Zenith and a beamwidth of 135 Degrees. The antenna is built using proprietary Maxtena Helicore technology that provides exceptional pattern control, polarization purity, and high efficiency in a compact form factor. It is suitable for applications that require minimal integration effort or for retrofitting existing products.
The integrated LNA provides a gain of 30 dB and has a noise figure of 1.5 dB. It provides out of band rejection of over 20 dBc. The LNA requires a supply voltage of 3.0 to 5.0 V and draws 25 mA of current.
This IP67 rated automotive-grade antenna is equipped with an O-ring and is available with an SMA connector. It is ideal for Autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), GNSS positioning, GNSS timing, sea, and land container tracking, fleet management, and asset tracking, marine and avionics systems, law enforcement, and public safety applications.
