The SMART7-S from NovAtel is a Multi-frequency, Multi-Constellation GNSS and L-Band Antenna and receiver. It uses an OEM7 receiver and VEXXIS antenna to receive GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo & QZSS signals. This antenna also receives L-band signals and provides easy access to the world-wide correction signals provided by TerraStar. It uses deeply-coupled GNSS+Inertial Navigation System (INS) SPAN technology from NovAtel and is optimized for demanding applications like precision agriculture and machine control. The antenna also features SPAN technology which provides accurate altitude information and terrain compensation to simplify the development of vehicle guidance systems and bridge GNSS signal outages caused by trees, buildings, and other obstacles.
The SMART7-S can provide decimeter or centimeter-level accuracy using globally transmitted satellite corrections. This antenna requires a DC supply from 7 to 30 V and consumes 4 W of power. It has RS232 and ISOBUS-compatible CAN bus interfaces with optional 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and 10/100 Ethernet connectivity. The antenna is available in a MIL-STD-810G-certified waterproof magnetic/screw-mountable enclosure that measures 22 x 192 x 66 mm and is ideal for high-quality measurements & reliable precision applications.
