The QLM29HxAA-GM from Quectel is a Smart Antenna Receiver that supports concurrent reception of L1 and L5 GNSS band signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, NavIC, and QZSS constellations. It has an AG3335A/T chip and integrated LNA, diplexer, and SAW filters to enhance the receivers’ sensitivity, noise cancellation, and anti-interference capability. This smart antenna receiver supports A-GNSS and C/A codes from SBAS constellations like WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, and GAGAN. It has an autonomous acquisition sensitivity of -147 dBm, a reacquisition sensitivity of -157 dBm, and a tracking sensitivity of -165 dBm. This antenna receiver has a cold start of 26 s, a warm start of 16 s and a hot start of 1 s.
The QLM29HxAA-GM has a position accuracy of 1 m (autonomous) & less than 0.1 m (with RTK) and a velocity accuracy of 0.03 m/s. This smart antenna receiver has a convergence time of less than 10 s for RTK and an accuracy of 20 ns for 1PPS signal (RMS). It has a Baud rate of 115200 bps and an update rate of up to 1 Hz (GNSS) & 100 Hz (IMU).
The QLM29HxAA-GM requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 42 mA of current. It can be controlled via an RS232 interface. This smart antenna receiver is available in a module that measures 72 x 57.6 x 22.3 mm and is ideal for micromobility, tractor steering systems, and precision agriculture applications.
