The 1065-042 from Southwest Antennas is a GPS & GLONASS Active L1/L2 patch antenna for high-accuracy location service, timing, and navigation applications. This right-hand circular polarized antenna has an in-built LNA that provides a gain of +28 dB and filters with out-of-band rejection of more than 50 dB allowing the antenna to operate in contested and congested RF environments. It has a hemispherical antenna pattern with an axial ratio of 2.4 dB and has a VSWR of less than 2:1.
For military applications, this antenna supports the GPS P/Y code with ±20 MHz bandwidth allowing for increased accuracy, jam resistance and encryption for authorized military applications. This patch-style antenna design is housed in a small, rugged, and low-profile waterproof radome which can be easily tucked into pockets or MOLLE pouches and mounted on body armor, vests, rucksacks, or other tactical gear.
For additional flexibility in mounting location, the antenna features an innovative magnetic mount integrated flush into the antenna’s radome, allowing it to be secured and removed quickly from any ferromagnetic surface. It measures 60.96 x 60.96 x 19.56 mm and has SMA-female connectors.
