The AirPrime XP2210 from Sierra Wireless is an Untethered Dead Reckoning Multi-GNSS Module for GPS+GLONASS and QZSS Constellations. It enables positioning accuracy of 1.5m and can provide positioning information even in areas with weak GNSS signals or when the GNSS signal is lost for short periods of time. Untethered dead reckoning fuses the inertial data from the 6-axis MEMS sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) with the GNSS signal to optimize positioning in areas with compromised GNSS coverage. The module has a 1 PPS timing accuracy of +/-20ns.
This module has an integrated TCXO, SAW Filter, an Embedded Flash, and an additional LNA. The module has an update rate of up to 10Hz and a tracking sensitivity of -161 dBm. It supports Anti-jamming and A-GPS (long-life ephemeris/self-generated ephemeris) to improve accuracy and time-to-fix. The RoHS and RED approved module measures 9.5 x 10.4 x 2.1mm with UART and 12C interfaces.
