The ACCVR-KaL-E29-V4 from ACORDE is a Block Downconverter (BDC) that converts input frequencies from 27 - 29.5 GHz to output frequencies from 950 - 2450 MHz. It provides a gain of 30 dB with a noise figure of less than 15 dB and has a phase noise of -125 dBc/Hz (@1 MHz offset). This downconverter provides an image rejection of more than 45 dB, has an output P1dB of 10 dBm, and in-band spurious emission of better than -50 dBc. It is a high-reliability solution designed for harsh environmental conditions, with every unit fully tested in an environmental chamber and delivered with a complete factory acceptance test report.
The ACCVR-KaL-E29-V4 requires a DC supply from 15 to 24 V, consumes 12 W of power during warm-up, and 10 W of power in a steady state. It is available in a rugged enclosure that measures 180 x 100 x 40 mm with K-type and N-type connectors. This BDC is designed for the challenging Ka-band professional and military satellite communication systems (ground, SOTP, SOTM, maritime, etc.).
