The Ka-Band LNB from Orbital Research is a Low Noise Block that converts an input frequency of 18.2 – 20.2 GHz (RF) to an output frequency of 950 – 2000 MHz (IF). It has a bandwidth from 100 to 1000 MHz, provides more than 60 dB of gain and has a phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz (@1 MHz offset). This LNB provides image rejection of 50 dB and has a noise figure of less than 1.3 dB. It incorporates switchable filters to provide exceptional image rejection on the desired bands and offers industry-leading performance at an affordable price. This RoHS-complaint converter requires a DC supply from 10 to 28 V.
This IP-67 rated LNB is available in a module that measures 44 x 44 x 154 mm with WR-42 waveguide interface for input and SMA or N-type connectors for output. It is ideal for commercial/shipping projects with large volumes of data in diverse regions, tier 1 and 2 users with large, complex, global data networks, and oil and gas applications.
