The PTP 45700 from Cambium Networks is a Beam Steering Outdoor Radio Unit (ODU) that operates from 4.4 to 5.875 GHz. It has an integrated smart antenna that provides electronic beamforming and allows for easy tactical installation and excellent interference mitigation. This antenna has an azimuth range of 120° and an elevation range of 30° for point-to-point links and enables quick, tactical installation by pointing in the general direction of the desired radio. It has an integrated spectrum analyzer, allowing real-time and historical monitoring of spectrum and utilizes Dynamic Spectrum Optimization (DSO) to maximize performance in dynamic spectrum environments.
The PTP 45700 can support 1+0 and 2+0 configurations (requires an external switch). It has a channel size from 5 to 45 MHz and supports fast pre-emptive adaptive modulation featuring 13 modulation/FEC coding levels ranging from BPSK to 256 QAM dual payload MIMO. This ODU provides a system gain of up to 166 dB and delivers a maximum transmit power of 29 dBm. It includes Ethernet interfaces with support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and various interfaces for system management. This ODU is available in a rugged IP67-rated housing that measures 581 x 595 x 84 mm and complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard for shock, vibration and temperature.
