The V5000 from Cambium Networks is a Microwave Backhaul Radio Link that operates from 57 to 66 GHz. It is integrated with a dual-sector antenna that delivers a gain of over 22.5 dBi and has a covering angle of up to 280 degrees with beamforming. This backhaul radio has a data rate of up to 15.2 Gbps (7.6 Gbps for both UL and DL) with channel bonding and has an EIRP (Equivalent Isotropically Radiated Power) of 38 dBm. It supports TDMA/TDD channel access, network synchronization and is certified for the Facebook’s Terragraph technology. This radio provides easy, fast, and cost-effective wireless gigabit connectivity for edge access solutions compared to fiber infrastructure.
The V5000 operates with Cambium Network’s cnMaestro management system and supports the Ethernet interface. The backhaul solution is available with a universal mount bracket that measures 280 x 185 x 102 mm and is ideal for service providers and enterprises for business & residential connectivity, backhaul for Wi-Fi access, and LTE/5G small cell applications.
