The C6x from Mimosa Networks is a Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) Backhaul Radio that operates from 5.150 to 6.425 GHz. It uses the latest Wi-Fi 6E OFDMA and beamforming technologies to achieve a data rate of up to 1.75 Gbps over a channel bandwidth of 20/40/80/160 MHz and has a low latency of 1 ms compared to legacy OFDM solutions. This backhaul radio can be deployed as a standard Wi-Fi interoperable client, which provides smooth transitioning in the field of legacy Mimosa and standard Wi-Fi deployments. It can further increase its native gain of 8 dBi using modular twist-on antennas, offering the ease and simplicity of integrated radios with more flexibility.
This C6x utilizes robust wireless technologies on the A6 access point to enable massive subscriber scaling, advanced noise management, and access to the new low-noise 6 GHz band. It supports MMP, Netconf, HTTPS, HTML 5-based web GUI, IPv4, and IPv6 protocols for network management. This RoHS-compliant radio efficiently manages the spectrum by actively scanning and logging on-going RF interference across all the channels. It embeds AES, RADIUS, and 802.1x authorization schemes to provide secure links.
This PTMP radio requires a passive PoE-compliant DC supply of 24 V and consumes less than 20 W of power. It is available in an IP67-rated enclosure that measures 178 x 113 x 67 mm and has N5-X twist-on connectors.
