The SSPA 27.0-31.0-20 from Aethercomm is a GaN solid state power amplifier that operates from 27 to 31 GHz. It provides a power gain of more than 43 dB and an output power of 20 W while operating on a 28 Vdc power supply. This SSPA can be turned on and off in less than 10.0 uSec. It is available in a module that measures 4 x 5 x 2 inches with SMA female connector at the input port and WR-28 waveguide at the output port. This device is ideal for commercial, military and satellite applications. This power amplifier module operates from -40°C to +70°C and has protection from reverse polarity, output short and open circuit.
