The dB-4127 from dB Control is a Microwave Power Module (MPM) that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers a CW/pulse output power of 200 W with 53 dB of gain and has a pulse repetition frequency of up to 10 kHz (in pulsed mode). This amplifier has an RF signal path that consists of a solid-state amplifier and a vacuum power booster. The power supply topology uses proprietary low-noise, high-efficiency designs to operate the RF signal path. It achieves pulse modulation of up to 10 kHz to CW using an incorporated high-speed modulator. This MPM includes helix over-current, cathode over-voltage, and over-temperature TWTA protection features.
The dB-4127 has harmonics of -2 dBc (at 6 GHz) and spurious emissions of -50 dBc. It is available in a module that measures 11 x 9.38 x 2.15 inches with SMA-female input connectors and WRD-650 Waveguide for the output interface. This MPM is designed to operate in extreme military environments and is ideal for electronic countermeasures (ECM) electronic warfare (EW) simulation and multi-band communication system applications.
