The MAAL-011258 from MACOM is a GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 13 to 15 GHz (Ku-Band). It delivers 27 dB of gain with a noise figure of 1.7 dB, and an output P1dB of 4 dBm. This LNA has a return loss of 7 dB at the input and 10 dB at the output. It is manufactured using a 0.13 μm gate length GaAs pHEMT process, which features full silicon nitride passivation to obtain high reliability along with gold bond pads and backside metallization.
