The MPA-26G5-40G-100 from Maury Microwave is a GaN Power Amplifier that operates from 26.5 to 40 GHz. It delivers a saturated CW output power of 100 W with a small signal gain of more than 50 dB. This instrumentation amplifier is burn-in, and aging tested for high reliability which includes prolonged storage under extreme temperature conditions, extended amplifier operation over the entire rated temperature range, and elongated usage at maximum power under CW and pulsed-CW conditions.
The amplifier has been developed to satisfy a wide range of application-specific requirements including simultaneous high power, wide bandwidth, low harmonic power, and high linearity. After burn-in and aging, each instrument amplifier is tested using a state-of-the-art vector-receiver measurement system. This system allows us to independently measure power at the fundamental, harmonic, and intermodulation frequencies using single-tone and two-tone input signals, as well as true ACPR using wideband modulated signals.
The MPA-26G5-40G-100 is available as a rack mount system with a 2.92 mm (female) connector at the input and a WR-28 waveguide flange at the output interface.
