The ZVA-20543VG+ from Mini-Circuits is a Variable Gain Amplifier that operates from 20 to 54 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 31 dBm with up to 50 dB of gain and a variable gain range of 17 dB. The gain can be controlled with an Analog or TTL Control. It has an optional cable harness with an integrated TTL to USB converter that allows control of the amplifier from a PC moments after unboxing. This amplifier has built-in temperature monitoring, power detection and alarm features for telemetry reporting. It has DC protection for over-voltage, reverse voltage and in-rush current that allows the amplifier to be protected from external mishandling or unexpected spikes in voltage.
The ZVA-20543VG+ requires a DC supply from +10 to +15 V and consumes 1800 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 52.83 x 51.77 x 66.88 mm with 1.85 mm (female) connectors and has a heatsink. The amplifier is ideal for wideband test and instrumentation, 5G-FR2 millimeter wave testing, aerospace and defense, test and measurement, broadband telecom and Ka-band SATCOM applications.
