The NuPower 12B01A-03 from NuWaves Engineering is an L-band Solid State GaN Power Amplifier that operates from 1435 to 1525 MHz. It delivers an output power of more than 11 W with a small signal gain of up to 49.5 dB. It has been developed to boost the performance of data links and transmitters. The amplifier utilizes high-efficiency GaN technology and provides 30% efficiency. It requires a DC supply of 28 V, consumes 1.5 A of current, and has over-voltage and reverse-voltage protection. This amplifier is available in a module that measures 3.00 x 2.00 x 0.65 inches with SMA-female connectors and an optional external heatsink. It is ideal for use in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) group 2 & 3, Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), broadband RF telemetry, RF communication systems, and Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications.
