The QPL7425 from Qorvo is a CATV Amplifier that operates from 5 to 1218 MHz. It provides 25 dB of gain with a noise figure of 1 dB and has an output P1dB of 21 dBm. This 75-ohm amplifier provides reverse isolation of 27 dB. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 60 mA of current or a DC supply of 8 V consuming 90 mA of current. This amplifier is available in a QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm and supports adjustable bias using external resistors. It is ideal for DOCSIS 3.1, upstream DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0, downstream (47 to 1218 MHz), upstream (5 to 684 MHz), head end CMTS equipment, optical node & amplifier, FTTH GPON & GEPON, satellite low noise amplifier, cable modem & set-top box and single-ended gain block applications.
