The SKYA21050 from Skyworks Solutions is a Linear Driver Power Amplifier that operates from 750 to 770 MHz. It delivers an output power of up to +23.5 dBm 35 dB of gain and has a PA ON/OFF switching time of 4.0 μs. This amplifier features integrated active biasing circuitry to compensate for the amplifier’s performance over temperature, voltage, and process variation along with an internal coupler for power monitoring. It requires a DC supply from 3.1 to 3.6 V and consumes of less than 700 mA of current. This amplifier is available in a compact 28-pin MSL3 package that measures 5.00 x 5.00 x 1.25 mm and is ideal for active distributed antenna systems, LTE cellular repeaters, and cellular applications.
