The CMD179 is a fundamental double balanced mixer in die that operates from 16 to 26 GHz. The mixer has a conversion loss of 7 dB, an LO to RF isolation of greater than 40 dB, an IF bandwidth of 8 GHz, and an input IP3 of +18 dBm. It has very high suppression of spurious products due to the ultra small, optimized balun structures. Two of these mixers can easily be configured as an image reject mixer or single sideband modulator with external hybrids and power splitters. The CMD179 is ideal for use in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios, test equipment, sensors, and military applications.
