QPX0004D Image

The QPX0004D from Qorvo is an I/Q Mixer with an RF/LO frequency range from 24 to 34 GHz and an IF frequency range from DC to 7 GHz. It can handle an input power of up to 11 dBm, has a low conversion loss of less than 9 dB, and has an IP3 of 19 dBm. This mixer provides an image rejection of 15 dB, has an LO/RF isolation of 30 dB and an LO/IF isolation of 24 dB. It can be configured as an image reject mixer, a single sideband upconverter, or a QPSK modulator/demodulator. The QPX0004D utilizes two double balanced mixer cells and a 90° hybrid on the LO port. An external 90° hybrid on the IF port is required to complete the image rejection or sideband suppression.

The QPX0004D is available as a die that measures 1500 x 1140 x 100 µm and is suitable for applications such as image reject down-conversion, single-sideband modulation, low noise receiver systems, phase detection and QPSK modulation/demodulation.
