The FMFX2021 from Fairview Microwave is an Active Frequency Doubler that multiplies an input frequency from 13.25 – 20 GHz to an output frequency from 26.5 – 40 GHz. It has a multiplication factor of 2 and can handle an input power of up to 10 dBm. The doubler can deliver an output power of 22 dBm when driven by a 4 dBm signal and has harmonics of -15 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 6 V and consumes 350 mA of current. The FMFX2021 is available in a module that measures 1.50 x 1 x 1.50 inches and has an SMA-type female connector at the input port and UG-599/U waveguide flange at the output port. It is ideal for test & measurement, military electronic systems, military & commercial communications, and research & development applications.
