The 5 Series MSO from Tektronix are Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes that have bandwidths up to 2 GHz. They are available with 4, 6, or 8 FlexChannel® inputs, each providing one analog signal that can be displayed as a waveform view, a spectral view, or both simultaneously. The oscilloscopes have a real-time sample rate of 6.25 GS/s, a standard record length of 62.5 Mpoints, and a waveform capture rate of more than 500,000 waveforms/second. They are equipped with a 50 MHz waveform generator, digital voltmeter, and 8-digit trigger frequency counter.
These oscilloscopes have a large 15.6-inch high-definition (1,920 x 1,080) capacitive touchscreen display. They have a unique stacked display layout that automatically adds and removes additional horizontal waveform 'slices' (additional graticules) as waveforms are created and removed. Each slice represents the full ADC range for the waveform. All waveforms are visually separated from each other while still using the full ADC range, enabling maximum visibility and accuracy.
The 5 Series MSO oscilloscopes have Ethernet, USB 2.0, Automotive Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet as peripherals and support USB Host (7 ports), USB 3.0 Device (1 port), LAN, Base-T, Display Port, DVI-D, VGA connectivity. They can be remotely viewed and controlled over a network connection through a standard web browser. The oscilloscopes are available in enclosures that measures 12.2 x 17.9 x 8.0 inches.
