The FWM7RAZ01-200002 from Fujitsu is a Doppler Radar Sensor that operates from 24.075 to 24.175 GHz (North America) and 24.050 to 24.250 GHz (Japan and China). It allows dynamic selection of up to 3 channels to prevent interference from adjacent sensors. This sensor integrates a 24 GHz transceiver, 2x4 Tx antenna array, IF amplifier, microcontroller unit (MCU), DAC converter, E2PROM, and an LDO voltage regulator into a single and compact module. It requires a DC supply from 3.4 to 5.5 V and consumes 63 mA of current while operating and 0.5 mA of current when disabled.

The FWM7RAZ01-200002 includes a pin header on the back that enables a hassle-free and easy integration of all components. It offers a stable frequency of transmission that ensures accurate target objection detection. The low noise output provided by the IF stage enables the detection of objects of varying sizes and distances. It also supports objects moving at very low and super-fast speeds using wide frequency IF (I, Q) outputs. This doppler radar sensor is available in a module that measures 30.0 x 40.0 x 9.5 mm and is ideal for moving object detection, vital sensing, and machine monitoring applications.
