The ISYS-6030 from InnoSent is an FMCW Radar Sensor that operates from 60 to 64 GHz. It has a field-of-view (FoV) of 6° x 6° and offers precise distance measurement of stationary and slow-moving targets with millimeter accuracy over a distance of up to 40 meters even under extreme conditions. The sensor consists of four digitally programmable outputs which can be used as a trigger and allow the output to be configured by the user and reported via the UART interface. It delivers a focused beam with robust functionality that is suitable for contactless level determination and collision avoidance applications.
The ISYS-6030 can operate in harsh environmental conditions (humidity, extreme temperature, foam formation, dirt, or dust) and is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. It is available in a package that measures 50 x 40 x 47 mm and is ideal for level measurement, collision avoidance, robotics, distance control, precrash alarming, and industrial applications. It can also be used to detect materials such as liquids, bulk items, powders, and pastes.
