The AKF-1256 from Akoustis is a 5.6 GHz co-existence BAW RF filter for high-speed Wi-Fi applications. It provides low insertion loss covering the U-NII-2C and U-NII-3 bands (mid-point - 5.66 GHz) and addresses the stringent rejection requirements enabling coexistence with the U-NII-1 and U-NII-2A bands. The filter can handle an input power of up to 30 dBm and has an ultra-wideband passband covering 345 MHz. It is available in an ultra-small module that measures 2 x 2.5 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for Wi-Fi tri band routers, access points and LTE/LAA small cells applications. The AKF-1256 uses standard laminate packaging and is compatible with high volume, lead-free SMT soldering processes.
