The mmW-STL Series from Benchmark Lark Technology are mmWave Stripline Band Pass Filters that operate from 5 to 40 GHz. These radiation-tolerant filters use low-loss substrates like Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), PTFE, and rigid thermoset materials to offer excellent electrical and mechanical properties such as stable dielectric constant and low dissipation factor. In addition, low moisture absorption and low coefficient of thermal expansion of these materials allow these filters to operate with very high reliability. These interdigital filters have bandwidths from 10 to 25% and have 5-11 sections. They are available in radiation-tolerant surface-mount packages that measure 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.03 inches. They are ideal for critical size-reduction applications, such as Ka/Ku band aerospace/Satcom/defense and mmWave infrastructure.
