The QPQ0978 from Qorvo is a BAW Band Pass Filter with a center frequency of 978 MHz and a bandwidth of 1.6 MHz. It has a passband insertion loss of 3.5 dB and excellent power handling capability. This filter provides exceptionally low loss and high selectivity and is designed to offer narrow-band signal control with low insertion loss at the center frequency. It is available in a chip-scale hermetic package that measures 6.4 x 6.4 mm and is ideal for use in air traffic control, defense & aerospace applications. The filter requires no matching components for easier PCB design and implementation and offers size and weight advantage over traditional ceramic and cavity filters.
