The DA16600 from Dialog Semiconductor is a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Combo Module that is designed for battery powered IoT devices. It consists of the Wi-Fi DA16200 SoC and the low power BLE DA14531 SoC which are integrated together to deliver low power consumption and long battery life in a convenient form factor. The module requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and supports UART, SPI, ADC, I2C, PWM, I2S, GPIOs, JTAG and SWD interfaces.
The DA16600 is based on Virtual Zero technology which provides an extended battery life of more than 1 year. It has three sleep modes – unconnected, connected ultra-low, and connected ultra-fast and an ultra-fast wake up mode. The module measures 14.2 x 24.6 x 3 mm with a chip/u.FL antenna interface and an SPDT antenna switch. It is suitable for use in thermostats, door locks, security cameras, asset trackers, home automation and other wireless sensors in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
