The HDG229 from H&D Wireless is a 28nm technology-based highly integrated WLAN (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth (4.2 Classic and LE) Combo module that supports onboard connectivity in Linux platforms. This dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) enables a feature-rich client solution providing a data rate of 150 Mbps (Wi-Fi ) and supports the concurrent or independent operation of WLAN and Bluetooth. It requires a DC voltage of 2.7-5.5V and supports multiple high-speed interfaces such as SDIO 3.0, HS-UART, GPIO, PCM – BT Audio with extensive DMA hardware support for data flow to reduce CPU load.
This FCC, IC, and CE compliant module come with plastic over mold connectors and measures 8 x 8 mm. It has an integrated sputtered shield and a super small footprint fulfilling regulatory demands.
